Anyone seen a new 2017 Panamera at their dealership yet?

I would say the turbo lag is slight, compared to my previous daily driver, a BMW 650 Gran Coupe. So that comparison is a 6 to an 8...I haven't driven my Targa 4S since I got the Panamera last week, I will do that this weekend and compare the "lag." Perhaps part of the feeling of lag is the transmission, which seems to have very short first and second gears. The "lag" is less in sport mode. A more annoying feature for me is that when you come to a stop sign, if you don't come to a very deliberate, completely full s t o p...the transmission does not downshift into first, and you start in second.

I would say there is some (but not to where its bad) turbo lag in the 2017 P turbo a lot less than my Cayenne Turbo from 2013. But the overboots button can eliminate that if you know you need power so in everyday driving in my individual mode which is essentially sport mode, with a softer ride, its barely noticeable. The '17 P turbo is a beast, I think it is faster than my 2014 c4s as well.

I am still thinking about test driving the 4S since it arrived last week at my dealer. For the price this thing better drive better than my Macan GTS with better everything. I don't know if it's worth the $$. I guess one way to fine out.
Anyone else notice the MSRP has risen $3000.00 on the Porsche website?

Air suspension is currently standard instead of a mandatory option for the US.
Not quite sure why it was ever listed as an option given I've seen nothing in the promotional material to indicate a steel spring suspension existed.
edit: looks like the configurator shows steel springs standard for the Panamera and Panamera 4s, ... But it also shows 3.0L single turbo while elsewhere on the porscheusa site it says 330hp 2.9L. PDF brochure is still the old one from the international 4S/Turbo launch.

Yep, here in the UK, prices went up recently by around 2% to 2.5% from Build Week 22. They added the 90 litre fuel tank as standard and made the air suspension optional too. PASM with steel suspension is now standard, at least on the Panamera 4.

First world problems...I'm surprise you can't customize the screen more (the dash screens to the right and left of the tach). Seems very limited. But they are gorgeous none the less. The map and pcm system in general is buttery smooth and feels like an iPad. There are at least two ways to do everything which is nice.
The two sunroofs open differently with their respective switches. Confusing. I wish it stayed in whatever drive mode you left it in. But that may be a EPA thing. Always have to put it into sport.
Very surprised how little boost the v8 needs. It is very powerful and happy to just use the naturally aspirated part of the motor. Then boost meter is a nice touch.
The first tow gears are short which takes a little adjustment to driving style. But some of that is due to driving it "nicely" during breakin period. You hammer down in 3rd gear and it is neck snapping acceleration.
Oh and it's huge. It is very wide and long. It's a handful to wash for sure.
Probably the finest sedan and car in general I have driven. It won't supplant my love for a 911 (normal or GT3), but it is out of this world exceptional.
