Default CPO or Non CPO Pano GTS?

Is the extra cost on CPO Pano GTSs worth the extra $$$ compared to non CPO cars which seem to be about $7-$10 k less?
Searching for 2013-2014 cars and seeing quite a difference.

Go with the CPO, I've had almost $40k covered via CPO over the years. I'd never buy without.

A longer warranty from a 3rd party would cost thousands less.

I'm usually not a warranty guy on used cars, but these cars are too expensive and have too many gadgets to go without a warranty IMO.

Is a third party warranty that the Porsche dealership is offering better than having the car go through the CPO process? The warranty is 7 years 100000 miles and costs $4000 while the CPO process is about $3200 and is only 6 years. My Panomera GTS is a 2016 with 9200 miles

I prefer the CPO... unlike some third party stuff the CPO is exactly like the original warranty... I hate trying to figure out what may be different with third party ones and they are unlikely to point things out while trying to sell you the policy... Just my 2 cents.
I know some third parties are too but I have the confidence about the CPO.

My dealer told me that CPO wouldn't cover everything that the original warranty did, such as rattles.

Not true ( as far as I ve researched). If you read the info it is the exact same as original warranty. It just extends the warranty.

as far as rattles??? Maybe that s considered normal wear and tear? If that s all they exclude from the original warranty that s good anyway. The normal list of not covered items, as in the original warranty, still applies... tires, batteries, etc..

I ve had center wheels caps, peeling paint, (on my 09 last year) replaced by CPO. Dealer can put just about anything thru. I ve never been denied anything on my 2 CPO s that I ve had.

I have spent over 10k in less than two yrs. on maintenance/replacement of bad parts etc. on a 2010 Panno turbo out of warranty.

Plan on 5-8k per yr. (or more) out of pocket for a non- CPO car.

Anytime u bring a Porsche back to the dealer for service the bill is always $1000.00 minimum no matter what they do to it. Including just look at it!

I am sold on CPO s only... it s good to see an honest post about what is possible or maybe even likely. A wise man will listen to his warning.

CPO was an absolute must for me. It took me about 6 weeks of searching for the right turbo at a fair price under CPO warranty.

I looked into 3rd party warranties and the only one I would trust is a fidelity platinum plan which requires the car to still be under factory warranty when you buy it.

Best of luck with your hunting
