Can you add a tow hitch?
A little sacrilegious I know, but I have seen in some European based press releases, there would be an optional tow package.
I have seen a handful of pictures, towing smaller trailers.
But I haven't been able to find any information regarding adding a tow hitch to US models.
Any guidance or help would be great!

I don't have any direct experience with this company or product but I have been researching the Panamera as a potential DD replacement in the future and I found this: http://execuhitch.com/tow-hitches/po...ayenne-10.html
A hitch is a must have for me as I am a cyclist and use hitch racks exclusively. So based on this find, the Panamera is back on the maybe list...

A tow hitch is an option on all European Panameras and you can retrofit them.
What you might have to do is by them in Europe and find a local installer.
It might not be cheap, I once paid $2500 to retrofit a Mercdes 450GL (the update to the electronics were the expensive bit)

Picture of that little green connector please. I have a 2010 Cayenne GTS with 1D8.
A tow hitch is an option on all European Panameras and you can retrofit them.

In the left storage area near the taillight, I have the CDC vertically, above that the stereo amp, and below the taillight a group of relays or connectors (bunch of little square boxes). One little square box is green colored. I wonder if that’s the connector.
What else will I need to buy to tow a dual axle car trailer? Wire harness? Brake Controller? Dealer programming?
Also I wonder if installing the OE hitch will require trimming the rear bumper cover, such as with the Curt hitch?
