Default 2017 Panamera seats

The age old question of Adaptive Sports Seats vs Power Seats. Had to ask coz the new Panamera have unique sports seats not found on other models. Was going for Adaptive Sports coz the regular seats seem unsupportive. But I saw the rear seats have different headrest on this video https://youtu.be/g8UAYAIsswI Seems to be some kind of head support. But yeah I'd like to know your opinions.

The rear seats with the headrest option is...

"Massage Seat Function (Front and Rear) incl. Seat Ventilation (Front and Rear) $4,060"

"Massage function for driver and all passenger seats, each with 10 air cushions in the backrests. Five massage programs with varying degrees of intensity are available for selection. Includes Seat Ventilation (Front and Rear).

Note: Only in conjunction with 14-way power seats (front)."

$4,060 for that option? I'll just stick to Adaptive Sports Seats. Doesn't look like it does much.

I went with the 14-way power seats. I've never had any problems with Porsche seats, either in terms of comfort or support, so I just took the seats that come standard with the Premium Plus package. FWIW, all the pictures and videos that I have seen of the car have those seats with headrests in the back.

I think that would be personal preference and body type. You should try sitting in the various seats. 18-way adds adjustment for side bolsters at the seat and torso versus 14-way. I have 18-way seats, but I am slender and bolster adjustments help to make for a snug fit. The seats are firm, but I can drive for several hours before needing to stop for a stretch.

Already made my mind with the 18-way Adaptive Sports Seats The 14-way doesn't seem to offer much support especially on the shoulder area. Just curious with what people are picking.

How do you determine if the car has massage seats? Not only for 2017 models but previous years models? Thanks

Previous versions didn't offer them so it's pretty simple in that regard. On the new ones it's in a menu on the center screen
