Check Engine Light Comes On After Hard Drive
I have a 2010 4S and after a spirited drive in sports mode my check engine light comes on. After a few days of normal driving it goes off. Has anyone experienced this problem?

Could have been as simple as a loose gas cap. Did you recently get gas, properly tighten it, and the CEL went off?
Next time you see the CEL, get the code read sooner. Most auto parts stores can/will do for free. Or unless you have a Durametric cable or similar.

That's great advice because I did get gas afterwards. It came on yesterday and the light was on last night so I'll run it down to the local parts store. Thanks and Happy Holidays.
