I have a 991 and just got a Panamera S for my wife. I have to say I'm loving the Panamera. Not quite as sporty, but definitely roomier, more comfortable, and equally powerful. I find myself looking forward to driving the Panamera just as much as the 991. I was quite surprised!
My 991 C4S was awesome, as were all my other P cars. My "new to me" Panamera Turbo S makes me not miss the others any more. Cayennes never "scratched the itch," even the Cayenne Turbo S.
Regarding the Executive, I've had adults in the back of my regular wheel base version and they have all claimed to be comfortable. The executive has not sold that well in North America, but sells a bunch in China, which is the biggest market for the Panamera. Buyers there have someone else drive...you can even set the a/c to cool the back of the car first.
The rear seats are definitely comfortable. That said, my father-in-law said he found sitting in the back painful after about hour 2 of a 4 hour drive. He wasn't too clear one why he was uncomfortable. I think that's more about him than about the seats - he's heavy, and extremely stiff. He found getting into the front passenger seat of my Supra a huge production.
Car looks great. You will love it. I took a neighbor out this weekend to show him a little about the car. I love seeing peoples eyes as I show what it will do. Then show how civil and quite. Nobody believes me until they experience it.
Gus_Smedstad: Yes, CPO thorough 2020. A must-have! And yes, I love the surround view -- it's really helpful as I learn the scale of the car. I can tell exactly where curbs are all around the car. I just wish there was a one-touch button to activate Surround View for those times when it doesn't activate itself.
Samp4: Thanks. Yeah, it's a great car. Definitely a beast, but still not as quick as my 911. To be expected though. But the Panny is a monster for such a heavy car.
