winter defrost question
Hey folks.
finally got my 2011 PTT. Drove it 1700 miles from Memphis to Maine in two days....that was fun. or at least exhausting!
now that we are getting a ton of snow up here I had a question about what is normal and not in this season.
Got some Michelin alpins in 19" which are working amazingly well.
today when i went to start the car after it had been sitting in 5 degree weather and had a dusting of very fine dry powdery snow something odd happened.
I pressed the defrost button and noted that i started getting a thin dusting of that fine snow INSIDE the car through the vents! WTF? if i just turned the heat to high and pressed the circulate air button this activity stopped. I think i remember reading something about keeping the area between hood and windshield free of debris/snow but this seemed a bit odd.
is my ac/heating system messed up or is this normal behavior?

Congratulations!
Yes, you are correct: "Keep the fresh-air intake between the windshield and the engine compartment lid free from snow, ice and leaves."
You may wish to verify that the cabin air filter is properly installed? Do an internet search for "panamera air cabin filter replacement"
