Nice build GMP - what's the reasoning behind the brake upgrade from the Turbo calipers/rotors to the Brembo? I know it's been years, but still relevant.

..Yes, a VERY good question !
But, I have not seen any good answer to date.

After having done 50'000 miles on Panamera (4S) frankly, I do not understand why making it to sit lower and making it being very louder !!!
The super points of the Panamera is to be silent and be extremely comfortable, or being the best car that I ever had to do Grand Tourism (to eat miles).
(I just did 2'500 miles last week), I would not even think of changing the exhaust, and for sure I will NEVER touch the suspension.
Sure, if you are one of those that absolutely need to make noise to have people looking at you, ..then it is a different problem.

About the brakes, Yes, I love these Brembo 6 pistons calipers big time, ..these are exactly what I have installed on my track car, i.e.: an old but "well" modified Boxster S. But, frankly, the OEM 6 pistons (front) of the Panamera are just fantastic, even for sportive open road use.
The fact that have "floating rotors" should help a bit the cooling, but, who do suffer of brake cooling problem with a Panamera on open roads ???
