Sorry brother...work been just hectic....need to make sure I focus on business so I can make these payments! ha

So far, LOVING her....although I am leasing the car, I am being a good boy and adhering to the break in period...have not even hit the sports plus button yet, and still think its awesome....sport setting, stiffest springs, sport exhaust always on...man, upon start up, when that exhaust "barks" to life....the best! 612 miles...I am going to hold out until 1000 miles, and then for certain, all hell will break loose...my kids are already n love with their own personal back bucket seats.

Anyway, only complaint, which they fixed today, was that the car was delivered out of alignment spec....front caster was off, and steering wheel cocked left. The dealer corrected at no charge, and now the car really feels more planted on the road..like a porsche should. I think this is a porsche thing, as my last 911 was also delivered dorked, as was my prior boxster S.

Had my new Passport 9500ix also hard wired in today at dealer at same time...only charged me $155, which I thought was quite fair. Windows getting tinted tomorrow, and I will be sure to post new pics on Monday.

I feel fortunate to have this machine...cannot wait until break in period...with each passing day, the car feels more and more like a "somewhat large" 991.....simply sublime....

Looks awesome, love the tint - wish it was not "illegal" on front window in California!

Enjoy!

Cole where did dealer hardware your new radar to? And why the escort vs valentine ? How do you like the radar thus far. I have V1 and its always going off. I know I need to send it in for update. Did you get the escort live feature? Thanks for input Dave

Hey there...love the passport thus far...its my third one and I have always enjoyed their technology. RARELY gets false alarms, and the new ones have a "mark" feature that even subsequently eliminates those. The dealer offered either, but the service guy was so honest, he said he also preferred the Escort. As you mention, the V1 just falses far too often

As for the install, the dealership did...perfect job and no future warranty concerns from using a smaller shop. I believe they ran the wire in the a pillar into one of the fuses, but not 100% sure However, it goes off when car is turned off and comes on when the car starts...mounted up next to the rear view mirror (on the left side) if you wanted details, I am sure the dealer could give you more facts Braman Porsche Service in West Palm Beach Ask for Les Snyder

No, the escort live feature did not seem to be worth it. I did however, spend the $30 to get the extended cord, mounded next to the console in easy reach to turn off the "beep" once a K band starts. That was 100% worth it

Guys-I thought I was the only one who preferred Escort over the V1. Glad to read that others had the same experience with all the false alarms.
