I fully expect the front and rear will reflect the changes seen on the Gran Turismo concept, updated lights/fascia. Otherwise the cars shape should be identical, so hard to understand how it will be a complete new look.

It shouldn't be a complete new look... those are changes in genrations. This is a facelift so there should be minor changes (headlights, taillights, etc.). Based on the spy videos of camouflaged cars on YouTube the changes look minor...

So far, judging by the spy photos, it doesn’t appear that the Panamera is getting extremely major changes, but the German automaker claims it’ll be extensively overhauled to the point that it’ll almost look like a new car. We still find that hard to believe, but what we are excited about is that the 4S variant may be swapping its V8 engine for a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6.
Rather than having 400-hp from the current 4S V8, the new twin-turbo V6 will sport 420-hp with better fuel efficiency. V8s won’t be entirely gone from the Panamera lineup however, as Porsche may be adopting Audi ‘s V8 TDI diesel engine. Chances are though, the diesel variant won’t be making it to America; it currently does sell well in Europe however.
Hopefully the refresh is a good one, since the second generation Panamera isn’t scheduled to make an appearance until 2015.

on the back, the rear glass gets pulled down, but here we do get changes in the rear light cut outs. they get dropped lower and made thinner to make the back end less bulbous

A freind of mine in Germany says that Riley may be correct about the V6. He couldn't confirm it but is hearing these recirculating rumors.
I may just get my wife the Platinum Edition and save the money. Either way it will be a V6 if this is true.

I think the V8 is heading the way of the Do-Do. Too inefficient for the new gas mileage standards approaching. It is really sad. I dont mind spending more for gas, but some pinhead politicians who hug trees everynight instead of humans think they need to protect me from myself. Jerks.
