Default Is the Panamera 4S a 200,000 mile car?

I'm interested in a 2010 Pan 4S coming off a lease and wondering what current **high milage** owners think of the car. My 04 Cayenne S had 190K miles and was going strong when I traded it away in 2011.

I'm wondering if you imagine owning your Panamera that long--if you think it has the reliability to go the distance.

I know that this is an unanswerable theoretical question (perfect for the web!) and I know that longevity often depends on where your car was in the production run, how you maintain it, etc.

(I've owned several P-cars before, so I'm comfortable with the brand and the cost of ownership and maintenance. I've had early runs of the 964, Boxster, Cayenne S, 997, and current Cayenne.)

i think you'd get bored of it ( or any car for that matter), well before that. Thats why I always lease...always something more "interesting" comes along...

Fair point, but I'm still interested in opinions about the mechanicals of the car.

I've leased two of my 5 previous Porsches. The 997S and the current Cayenne. Leases work great for people who can manage their milage. Mine fluctuates with business travel and thus I have put 36K miles on my current car in the first half of the lease and will go well over. So, the idea is to buy the Panamera and then just drive the wheels off.

Leases just don't make sense for high-milage.

Even more fair point... Sorry to highjavk your question. Anyway, I've had a few prior porsches as well, and getting ready to lease the panny gts. I gotta think these. Cars are as tough as the other Porsches, so my guess would be yes, if well maintained

This 2011 just sold with over 144k miles on it so I defiantly think that it could make it.

I sure hope it lasts 200k. Porsche as a make/brand has always been near the top of JD Power lists for their Vehicle Dependabilty Study. Since it's a 3 year study, it wasn't out for the Panamera when I got mine. However I got a great deal on one and couldn't wait for the results.

I plan to keep mine until it hits 150k or until it's about 7-8 years old. Since I don't drive a lot, I will likely end up keeping it for 8 years.
