I really like it. I'm not a fan of the current Panamera, specifically because of the rear end. This looks MUCH better IMO.

Maybe this is the new pattern they're following, where the true 2nd gen stuff is where they finally "get it right." The current Cayenne is IMO way better looking than the original. Same with the 981 Boxster vs. the 986/7.

I like the 2012 Ford Taurus better than the 2002 version. Maybe Ford is following Porsche's "new pattern"

It was also on display at the LA auto show, but not out for public viewing. They had it in a back room only for viewing by of guest of Porsche for comments. It is a great looking car and I think it will drive up the sales of the Panamera again...

It's going to cost a fortune. I like it butI don't see dudes forking over that kind of cash for a grocery getter (wagon)

Let's not get over our heads here... Here's the new RS6 Avant. Now that's a car I'd love to own!

And I am a dude who'd own a $110K E63 wagon in a heartbeat if I had the funds. For now, my lowly B7 S4 wagon will have to do. It was the last S wagon Audi imported. Too bad!

I'm a fan. It balances out the front of the Panamera nicely. I'm a fan of wagons too and have owned two MB E Wagons which are incredibly usable and practical. the thing I like about the MB is that it doesnt pretend to be anything other than its utilitarian purpose. Even the AMG's arent pimped out. thats why I'm not a fan of the Audi's which seem to "showoff" a bit. Frankly I think they appear a little riced out. However, with the Panamera Wagon it doesnt appear to pretend to be anything other than a Panamera Wagon. Frankly I think it'll cannibalize a lot of Audi sales particularly the R/RS's. The MB buyer is a different customer, even the AMG versions.

I was thinking the same. The Quattro below the number plate is ridiculous but I'm sure you could order it a bit more discrete from the factory.

Fair enough but why state the obvious, it's ricer, misplaced and it will chase away the adepts of a discrete high performance estate.

Just found that Audi has confirmed that the Quattro sign is optional after many negative critics from car magazines.

Infinitely better than the sedan. More of an analog to the Ferrari FF than the Audis or Mercedes.

Dear citizens of OT, please indulge me while I move this to the Panam section.
Strange fate brought it upon me to moderate this forum, and I have yet to post something positive about these cars.

Best,

John
