Default Instructions on converting to paddle shift steering wheel

Hi guys,

I found this instruction online but it's for a 997. I wonder if it's the same for Panamera? It looks so easy. I've done steering wheel removal on other cars before, but never on something exotic-ish like the panamera.

It looks identical to panamera. I am about to do mine in a week or so when the wheel arrives, I just don't want to end up messing up the electronics of the car or worse, blowing my head off from the airbag.... eeek.

Be sure to let the car sit for a few hours to discharge any remnant electricity in the SRS system and you shouldn't have any worries about the airbag.

So, why do this? Just to convert the shift buttons to paddles? Please update the thread and let us know if it works - and how much it costs! I wouldn't mind having paddles.

A few hours? The battery will be drained at the most in 10 minutes. But thanks for the advice.

Yes, I have always preferred paddles just like my superleggera. I even rigged my Mini to make it left downshift and right downshift. As the button shifts are retarded in my opinion.
