Aftermarket exhaust and shifting issues
A friend of mine took his Panamera (regular, not S or Turbo) to an exhaust shop where they installed some high flow mufflers and tubing. He is complaining about the shifting being "screwed up" and thinks that the system might not have enough back pressure.
Has anyone with a performance exhaust package had any problems like this? I am sure he still has cats of some form and definitely has mufflers because the car is not super loud.
I will try to figure out whats under his car this week, but I figured I would post something here in case there's an obvious answer.
Thanks for the help,
- Peter

Howdy Vista.
I'm in Encinitas.
No help on the problem - he should have installed a proven exhaust designed for the Pan rather than trying a custom one-off.

Randy,
That's probably true, but that takes a lot of the fun out of telling people "it's custom!" I do the same thing on my car... I will spend countless hours to make something I could have bought for less $$.
Are you going to Oktoberfest with the PCA?

Naw, us 928 owners are the redheaded stepchildren of PCA.
We have our own Sharktoberfest in Anaheim, though.
