Slightly off topic...4 door Porsche. Was ist das?
So there I was, hustling my crew installing thermoplastic stop bars at the intersection of Wall and A street here in Midland, TX.
It was just about 11:20 am and we were trying to wrap things up before the worst of the Downtown lunch traffic clogged the streets.
One of the crew, J.C. said, " There goes a Porsche ".
It was ... but it took a bit to long in passing.
My first -real live- 4 door Porsche sighting.
Looked like a stretched silver Cayman.
What was it?
TIA

Thanks Jim
It sure doesn't look like the artist's renderings and 'I spy' flicks of a few years ago.
Whatever Porsches' intent for a 4 door, GT in the way of performance was, apparently looks weren't involved.
Point of fact, on the way back to the yard I saw a new black, Mercedes 600 Series that wasn't very attractive either but looked better than the 4dr Porsche.
Automotive high point of the day was a magnificent RED, resto-moded' 57 Belaire(?) convertible being trailered downtown.
Thanks again.
