Guys,
I really enjoyed reading this tread and it seems to me that solution is very simple.
Invite both of your neighbors for drinks and after a few glasses tell that you are thinking of getting new car and ask for their advices.
It's hard to imaging any them will say something bad about their chooses. Most likely they will be recommending Pana and you'll be getting your green light to own the one. In case they will be playing cruel game - simple express your condolences on their "suffering" and try to get real sport car as 911 Speedster. Yep.. it will costly but imaging those looks from the windows :-)

P.S. Don't even think about MB. Recently drove CL63... what a waist of 165K..

I wish my neighbors would buy 911's so we can talk Porsches and stop hating each other .

Reason for post was that I thought it was an interesting subject to post about.
If they get upset, sounds like they don't have enough to do throughout the day to keep their minds occupied.

SImple, youre from Illinois right? Get Obama to come to your neighborhood and ask him to do what he does best, Organize communities. Have him tell you what car for each of you! Its coming anyway.
Plus Obama will make sure you all pay ALL your taxes above and beyond what is necessary any way,

I cant believe I am the only one to come up with the right answer!!!!!!

the richest man in my neighbourhood drives an old SL... while the 'poorest' guy drives a 599 and 458...

i think it's pretty common understanding that cars can't tell one's true wealth at all..
