I don't have a PS, but ordered a Pan4 for my wife.

On paper, the Pan4 is not much slower than PS, and 4WD will be useful in Vancouver.

Are you sure you don't need 4WD in Seattle?

I have a P4S. For the small difference in base price, the P4S is the way to go. BTW, The P4S is slightly faster than the PS as the AWD improves traction.

No regrets. I love the car.

Must-have options include the rear view camera, air suspension, PDCC, sport exhaust.

I have traded-in my C4S for a P4S and I can tell you the only regret I will have is it is less engaging to drive. Example, 6speed manual in my C4S was fantastic, that being said, it is different and the PDK with sports plus (A MUST IMHO) will keep me entertained. I got the sports exhaust as I hear the growl of the V8, but nothing from the exhaust. Will miss the waling howl of my 997 at 6000rpm.

But, I can't wait for the P4S, where I can enjoy it with 3 other friends;-)

I have never had anything other than rear wheel drive in my life. Boston, Minnesota and Seattle. The P4S typically is better optioned

Love my P4S, its a phenomenal car. Don't think you need the back up camera, unless you do a lot of parking in a city or other tight places. The F/R park sensors work very well. The sport chrono and the full air suspension are essential to maximize sporty feel and capabilities. Don't hesitate, it's the bomb!

Looks like a basalt black P4S, sport plus, exhaust. camera, no air suspension or PDCC. I will see tomorrow. The dealer loaned me one yesterday and I took it back today. I do like the car very much. For me it is a perfect fit for a sedan.
Thanks

I would not suggest going to a PTT from a TT 911 as you will always be dissapointed with the turbo boost. I drove my wife's uncle's PTT for 3 days. I was impressed with the 0-100kph performance but dissapointed with the mid-range (say from 80 to 120 or 140 to 180 - these are in kph not mph).

PDCC - a MUST have. That in my opinion is what completes the Panamera a Porsche.

my p4s has included pdcc but too bad it can't be switched off so i can't compare with and without it... i honestly don't know how much difference it is making.. it is not exactly a cheap option...

i didn't get rear camera.. i would regret if i did coz it's no use at all... the default parking aids are more than enough... and i live in a crowded city with really small parkings...

there is sport plus mode no matter u have sport chrono or not... sport chrono is just for launch control... i didn't get sport chrono as i couldn't think of any occasion i can use launch control..

phonetics, I know how you feel. My P4s has PDCC . I know I can feel it, as there is very little body roll, but I wish I could turn it off to truly appreciate it when I turn it back on.

I am also interested in the Pan4. Did you order the 100l gas tank? When do you expect to get it?

Just joined the forum. I'm 3 weeks into my PS4/sports chrono/turbo II wheels & am completely satisfied w/performance & handling in both traffic & open road as well as comfort @ back seats for the kids. It's a great car. It's not a 911. It's simply the best handling 4 door around. The ONLY bug is the blind spots, but I've adapted. AWD is a must if it snows in your area. The 20" wheels make a huge aesthetic difference. The rearview camera is a toy.

Hmmm I think I have an escalating regret. Maybe I should have ordered PCCB . My CAYMAN S and 997 TT definitely did not need it but I feel the Panamera needs it. It's a heavy beast. I'm hoping that I am simplm accustomed to the turbo's amazing stopping power and will acclimatize tm the P4s's breaks.

p4s for 1 month and about 700 miles. love interior, build quality, exterior style, overall feeling of a special car. wish i ordered sport chrono so i could access 1st gear (shame on porsche), park assist so i could pull out of my garage in less than 3 tries. porsche should have made it a little narrower with lower roof line and some how fit a spare tire. regardless, beats out s550, 750i, a8l, qp.
