I too like it, as to whether or not one is in the offing is another question all togehter but not out of the question. Then again... I never thought I'd buy a Cayenne either and love it.

I like it a lot. I was behind a black turbo the other day and from the rear 3/4 view (among others) I thought it looked incredible.

Saw my first one today on the road....sorry but I thought it was pretty ugly. I may change my mind but right now that is my opinion.

I know what your talking about regarding the Panamera being used as the butt of jokes regarding styling.
I think the stying is a home run..... I just bought a 911 but if I'd have waited another month until the four door hit the dealers I would have bought that car....It's a brilliant design....[/I]

I think the butt on the new Porsche is very nice, I like the uniqueness of the 928 butt most though. I am biased.

I'm beginning to see quite a few around here. So far, to my eyes, the white is the most complimentary to the design. Stunning. Very subjective, of course.

I'd probably get one, but I just can't see myself in a car with such large blind spots to the rear.

after driving for 2 weeks... it's not an issue for me anymore... when i park... i just look at the screen and side mirrors... i don't look back to rear window at all now... the park sensors on the screen are so addictive..

if you think this blind spot thing is a real challenge.. perhaps u should not be driving porsche at all coz it's too dangerous for u...

The dealer gave me one for an over night demo this weekend and will be picking one up today. I did not find any significant blind spot other than below the rear window. While driving I just adjusted the side mirrors and can see all along the sides. Out the rear the head rests block a little but not important to me.

Congrats! please post some pics, of course, and tell us the specs. I am anxiously waiting to get one, but probably not until December.
