Default 970.1 Steering Wheel Upgrade

I own a 2013 Panamera 970.1 PDK that comes with the push-paddle shifter and find it incredibly hard to use. I've been trying to upgrade the wheel to a more modern style. I'm looking at a 95B wheel with a GPS Adapter kit, but actually trying to find documentation on a similar procedure comes up short.

The GPS SMTV1-H adapter says any 95B style multifunction wheel will work with a 970.1 Panamera. The SKU for the wheel I am looking at is a 95B-419-091-AJ-A34 (inc'l airbag). I have every reason to think this will work in theory, but I just want to ask the collective before I pull the trigger. Has anyone done something similar? How do you like it? Are there any residual issues or incompatibilities?

Do the paddles and multi function etc work on the new wheel ? I’ve been thinking about upgrading mine . Any issues with the Ali Express one?
