Hi guys, I have a 2019 Panamera GTS turismo, whenever I accelerate hard, I hear a buzzing noise/rattle inside, I can hear it behind me. Would anybody happen to know what this might be? I took it to Porsche and they told me that they would have to charge me a diagnostic fee and if the issue falls under warranty, they’ll fix it but if not I’ll have to pay for the diagnostic and the issue as it would come under wear and tear.
Lots of factors play into sounds , it could be related to turbo harmonic noise . Some turbo's make a buzzing sound under boost . As stated above it could be transing to a shield ?
Bring it up and hold it to see if the sound stops , then come down and boost it again and hold till gone . That may help find the cause , then narrow down to the source . You will need to lift the car to fully check the belly .
