Default Assistance features difference 971.2 to 976 ?

Hi All, I am considering buying a late 2023 platinum edition Sport Turismo fully loaded. I use adaptive cruise with active lane keeping a lot during my commute to work everyday. I want to know if the innodrive on Panameras are better / upgraded in 976 new model compared to 971.1 or .2 ? My budget allows me to go for 976 but it doesn't come in sport Turismo estate shape hence I am leaning towards fully loaded 971.2 platinum edition.

Can anybody confirm who probably have moved from 971 to 976 if the assistance features (Innodrive, surround camera quality) software and hardware are much improved and better in 976 or are they the same in terms of behavior and responses?

PS - I know there has been a huge hardware updates on the 976 matrix headlights compared to the 971 PDLS plus but its ok I could live with it

The innodrive up to 971.2 is just sad, at least in the US. The 976 (similar to the same MY cayenne) slows down on the bends and before turning if the signal is on. Also brings the car to a near full stop on stop signs. It has V2X capabilities that should allow the car to "talk" to the infrastructure. That is still rare in the US but from time to time I see the car pacing to get a green light and/or play the light the countdown in the dashboard
Of the deal on the 971 is better, go for it. It's still a gimmick and not near full self driving.

I have a BMW X5 2024 and the Driving assistance pro system on this vehicle is just the best I have ever tried. Almost perfect in all possible scenarios - I wish Porsche were at least close to BMW in terms of driver's assistance systems.

Id say in all fairness, the p cars are made to drive. Also as far as bmw, I personally have never liked em. The older models way better looking than the new as well.

I actually turn many of them off, but I can say that, compared to my two recent BMWs and current MB cars, the Porsche assistance systems are superior, in my opinion. I love the large orange light on the inside of the side mirrors which shines when someone is in my blindspot, or approaching the blind spot rapidly. It flashes if the turn signal is on. It is much more easily seen than the little light at the end of the mirror. When I use it, the innodrive is fantastic, but I rarely use it (usually only when interstate driving and trying to eat lunch). Parking assist cameras are fantastic, I use themn daily via the diamond button on my wheel. Mine has night vision, which has saved me several times from hitting deer on the Texas back roads, which i did not see until it would have been too late. The systems are better, in my opinion, than my wife's MB, and my past (but recent) two BMWs.

Addendum: forgot to say, I have a 976.
