As noted in other forums, (https://rennlist.com/forums/cayenne-...m_content=post ) Porsche seems to have neglected a proper mount for US plates, which leads to dealers just drilling a couple holes into the bumper to mount the plates.
This is a little inelegant on such a fine car. Because the bumper isn't actually flat, at least on my 2025 Panamera 4 E-Hybrid, the plate isn't secure and can flap around.
But luckily, https://yourlittlecncshop.com/ has a solution for us.
They worked with me to design a bracket that screws into the original reinforced guide holes that Porsche provides and uses rubber spacers to prevent rattling and accommodate curvature of the bumper for a solid fit. They provide marine-grade hardware and screw covers as well. I've attached some photos to show the mounting process.
Holes the dealer made. Bracket mounts in factory-supplied dimple. Bracket showing one rubber spacer installed. Spacers make everything snug. Mounted and ready for plate. Plate and frame screwed in. All done with the caps.
