Default Cannot remove Headlight

A few weeks ago I was replacing the 970 air filter with a Bmc unit. Was able to get the front bumper off and passenger side headlight popped out with the tool no problem. Unfortunately the drivers side headlight would not pop out with the tool. Was still able to get bumper off of course the upper bumper clips were missing too. Does the drivers side headlight have some additional fastener underneath or does the pop out mechanism get jammed up somewhere? It was quite lodged in there, tool no help.

The bmc air filter worked out great, it had a little better response on the throttle.

Same happened to me, I removed the wheel well liner and lubed up the area with WD and pushed along with the tool .

Seems like fine sand /grit gets in and can jam it up .Clean the area up well before replacement .

How often will you service the BMC filter ? Is it like a K&N ? I would be reluctant to deal with stuff like that in a Panamera ? Too much hassle.

Thanks I will remove the liner and see what is going on. The bmc is pretty much a k&n probably clean it every 2 years. What I noticed about the air box is water draining off the hood above the radiator then onto the corner of airbox completely rusted the corner bolt to where it sheared off.. created a gap that let water into the paper filter, it was wet. I had to drill and tap a new fastener then added silicone in that area seam. Only that spot on passenger side inner corner. The filter housing bolts sit in a trapezoid cup which just holds water, you can drill a side hole to drain it but it is not a good factory design.

I agree the whole design is a bit too difficult ?
