So not sure where to start... At first I thought it was the shock, but it holds air no leaks via soapy water, checked the valves...
The a/c thing I don't know... I was looking at a site ( https://charm.li/Porsche/2011/Paname...and%20Outputs/ ) that the control unit and ride height basically talk to each other some how then goes to the gateway.
Definitely could use some help on this. (2012 panamera TURBO)

I believe the shock absorber valve is unrelated to your air suspension or to a shock fluid leak you could see. The shocks change damping via electric signal (magnetic fluid changes viscosity). Worst case is one side stiffens while the other side doesn't. It wouldn't be visible as a leak or change in suspension height.

What I suspected that the front left shock was replaced at some point, when I 1st got the car, I lifted it up to check everything myself. I noticed that the condition of the front left versus the front right was different. The front left looked newer, and the dust cover on the right front decided to leave the chat.
Strangely enough when I sprayed soapy water to look for leaks I saw nothing. So I am assuming the electronic valve inside the shock itself has gone bad. I also couldn't see what was the manufacturer of the air shock so I'm guessing it's not OE quality?

I would agree - the internal windings are problematic on the lower PASM assembly. The 'AC' message tends to come on when one is having air susp issues, but clears when all is resolved.
This is very common on non-OEM systems, as they are not 'true' PASM-type assemblies - most aftermarket don't effectively operate as OEM and 'fool' the system into thinking they are working, when in fact, they are not.
All said, would consider replacing with a proper OEM assembly. Unfortunately, it is recommended to replace these in pairs as these issues can affect both sides. I have a number of OEM sets on hand and refurbish.
