Default SiriusXM issue

My car is still in its Sirius trial period and I also enrolled in a paid premium subscription. Supposed to be seamless. But, about half the time when I start the car, Sirius will not load. I then go to Sirius settings and find a message that says "I can use my premium subscription while in the trial period by pushing Listen now". Once I do that Sirius loads, my Favorites display and all is good. It's like the system has 2 subscriptions and gets confused about which one to load. Sirius says it's all correct on their end and it's an antenna/car issue. My dealer is playing with it and has not figured it out yet. Any ideas/thoughts?

‘Having the same issue with my Cayenne we just purchased. Once I push listen now, it works fine. I hope it resolves once the trial ends but I don’t think it is an antenna issue. I think it may be a pcm / SiriusXM communication issue? It works fine in my Panamera but we have had it for almost two years,

Fixed the issue by cancelling the trial subscription. Don't know if it's a Porsche issue or Sirius. In any event, I called Sirius, canceled both my trial and paid subscriptions, reinstated just my paid subscription and now everything works properly.

Interesting. My experience was just the opposite. I have always had SiriusXM, so when I bought my Panamera, I suspended my account during the free trial period and then picked it up again after the trial period ended. It was totally seamless, and I never noticed anything except that the billing of my credit card started again.
