I am in the market for a Porsche and I’ve got my eye on a 2014 Porsche Panamera GTS with 49,000 miles. It is currently being sold for $39,500. Is there anything I should consider or look for? It has a clean car fax with only two owners and warranty until 03/27/2026. I plan on daily driving this GTS and I drive around 60-80 miles a day.
My advise outside of the usual get the inspection is if it’s what you’re looking for spec wise, what are you waiting for? Everyday your not driving it your missing out on that exhaust note and fun ride! Sincerely, 2015 GTS (my owner says I’m awesomeness)
The most common issues on the Panny's tend to be the front suspension (upper control arms) and air suspension. Check to see if there are any service records as these will - at some point - require attention.
Also, 60K service interval is coming up which is quite lengthy - and pricey. The car appears to have all the options (except ceramic brakes), including those cools wheels. I think with the warranty with at least 1 year remaining makes this a good choice. Tires are about $2K and if they haven't been changed recently, something to consider.
I would go for it - looks very clean and well kept.

The owner says the tires are currently at 50% use. I did ask if the suspension has had any recent maintenance done. I will likely pull the trigger on the GTS but just want to make sure the 2014 is a reliable year to buy a Panamera.
The 970.2 version ran from 14 - 16 (I have a 15) and introduced many solutions to those in the gen .1 series. Namely, the front/rear body panels, but also upgrade to the front lower control arms and resolved some internal motor issues on the 4.8.
That said, the .2 versions tend to have less issues...
I ordered my 2014 GTS in 2013 and had it for almost 11 years, nothing broke although I replaced the thermostat housing and plastic coolant tube under the intake manifold while I had it apart. The thermostat housing was done to eliminate a potential failure point. Recharged the AC once.
I replaced it with a 2021 GTS which has a lot of improvements but it’s more of a luxury sedan. No longer an event to drive like the 2014. The 2014 had the best exhaust sound of any car I’ve own.

I attached the Carfax report. Is there any services you see missed or needs to be done soon?

curious what makes you say it’s more luxury aimed. Does the 971 have the 2.9 or 4.0?

Did Porsche solve front end suspension issues on .2 that 970.1 had?
Most don't realize, but the problematic and under-engineered front lower control arms were updated with more robust and larger bushings. The upper control arms still suffer, but let's face it - this is a heavy car.
Also, the sway bars rubber mounts were also bolstered and enlarged.
