Default Panamera 971 front lights

I have question for Panamera 971-2 lights. My car is 2021 Panamera

USA car. Front right light is broken. I am in Europe now.
So questions:
1. If i buy visually the same light here in EU, can i install it and use? so one light would be EU another USA?
2. What is difference between my light and so called Matrix light? which one is cooler?
3. If i buy EU matrix light, can i install and make it work on my car?

Yes you can but u need to code them in and then if you want to enable matrix you got to figure out how to do it. I know how to do it and i have done it on my car and then you got to calibrate them via PIWIS

the matrix is cooler cause it shine everything, the oem doesn't do that. The stock one goes left and right while the matrix one goes up and down

You can google the difference between matrix and regular PDLS+. Either way the light will need to be coded as even the base light has motors in it to adjust the beam.

I'm surprised nobody is telling you that your 2021 Panamera's headlights can already support the Matrix functionality. It was turned OFF
by Porsche for US bound cars.

How wouldI know? Because my 2017 Turbo had the functionality enabled by a colleague using his PIWIS system.

There are already discussion threads on enabling the functionality, including which settings to modify - and what steps to execute. It does work!
Note that it enables above 50 MPH, so you won't see it around town. I dove on a 4-lane road a few weeks ago at night with other traffic. The
headlights showed high beam where the oncoming traffic wasn't and did the same for traffic going the same direction - yet high beam elsewhere!

It was impressive!

I did not realize matrix headlights were standard for 2021. There is a guy on here who can sell you a PIWIS clone and remotely code it for you. He did PSE for me.

That assumes you optioned the car with the matrix-capable headlights. He clearly didn't..

They weren't.. it's an option and even if you did order them, full matrix functionality is disabled in the US market.

Oops! Right. My Turbo was configured with the Matrix headlight option...

...and, even if the vehicle had/has the option, it was not enabled for the US market til 2023 models shipped (DUMB!!! - thanks for NOTHING US DOT!!!)
