I love our 2018 Panamera S/T turbo. But man, there are some little things that drive me insane, like the way the "E" in the "PORSCHE" lettering on the back of the car just loves to snag on a car drying towel and break, necessitating the purchase of the entire letter set....let me know if anyone needs a brand new set that reads "PORSCH" - I have two.
But I digress...
Today I got in to discover that one of the climate control switch buttons has decided to strike out on its own, never to be seen again. A search of the floor and between the seats was futile. Maybe the car detailer vacuumed it up, who knows. So I made myself insane searching these forums and the internet - including the Porsche online PET catalog, but no luck.
Does anyone know if these switch buttons are available, and if so, what the Porsche part number is? And please for the love of all that is good don't tell me what I suspect to be true - "you have to buy the whole assembly".....
Thanking whoever turns out to be my savior in
advance!
If its not on PET its not sold separately. I've seen those switches sold as LKQ parts on Ebay. I've also seen deals on that entire gloss black panel if its scratched or damaged.

This isn't a Porsche thing. I learned early on, never wash car lettering vigorously with a towel.
I use a detailing brush to wash in and around the boot letters of all my cars. It's better than a towel or sponge because you can get in between the interior spaces letters as well as get dirt that's on the edges that towels/sponges would lift over.

I'm willing to bet that the person who broke it put it in there. There is no way it will break then levitate over into the door pocket.
