I just joined and would like to get your experience with a problem I am dealing with. I have a 2013 Panamera GTS with about 50k miles and recently whenever I put the car in Sport Plus and speed between 70-75 MPH, the car starts shaking really bad after a couple minutes and as I slow down it still shakes rapidly when I push the gas pedal. This issue also happens randomly in comfort mode as well. The 2 Front Tie Rod Ends just got replaced as well as all 4 tires including Alignment.
Pretty tough to diagnose from here. Have you checked for any fault codes? If it doesnt shake ALL the time at 70-75 you can rule out unbalanced tires or bent wheels. Is your check engine light flashing by chance? Does it shake bad at idle? Almost sounds like its misfiring.
Does it shake more when on or off the gas? Also how about tapping brakes? On a stick I would throw it in neutral when vibration hits to rule out engine balancer or motor mounts, you can try shifting gears up or down at that point, then brake tap, next pasm on or off, suspension check, tire wear, bearing play, cv joint it all depends if the vibration feels as driveline balancer motor / trans mount, brakes, alignment, wheels, balancing, bearings even steering intermediate shaft play. Try 75mph using different gears/rpm, is it the same rpm where it vibrates?
I suddenly experienced intense shaking at around 75 mph on my 2013 GTS. Got a tire balancing and alignment which seemed to help a bit, but not fully. Only getting new tires solved the problem.
