Troubleshooting horn and when starting the car 3 unrelated errors came up, thoughts?
Hey all,
I'm in the middle of troubleshooting horn problems so I have pulled the #48 fuse and it checked good and pulled the relay to get part number so I can order a replacement. When all back in the car - no new stuff yet three new error codes popped up. PSM failure, stop start and CE light on. Wife needed the car so I have not read the codes yet with the scanner. Any ideas as to why these codes would pop up by removing the horn fuse and relay? Has me stumped for now.
Any thoughts comments or comedic replies welcomed. Thanks in advance.
Cheers Mike

Codes are 0016 cam shaft position sensor. I cannot understand how all these codes came along by pulling the horn relay but it is connected to the buss and who would ever disconnect the battery to change a relay. I am begging for help. I have four broken rides on my plate and wife's car is priority. I unplugged the battery for a while hoping it would help but nope. I don ot know why but the CE is the 0016 and one code says pending and the other permanent. It will let me clear the dash light but not the perm code.
I am still on a hand held. Is it time to step it up to a better diagnostic tool?
Cheers Mike
