When I go to my.porsche.com and follow the link to my car's manual, that manual says this:

It even has a picture of the Key button and talks about Driver Memory Package vs Comfort Memory Package... I'm not even sure which one I have at this point.

That's outdated as of MY24. No key button present.

Its been outdated since MY21 or whatever, that was my point. I have a 2023 GTS with no key button but my manual shows the key button and makes no mention of the PCM explanation the newer manual has.

Hi! I have another kind of problem. Each time I switch the ignition on I have my settings reset to default. I'm talking about things like Lane keeping assist, speed control that makes a sound every time you overspeed 1kmh .. etc. It really drives me crazy. I have to uncheck it every time and couldn't find any option to switch it off. I have Panamera 4 E-Hybrid 2024.

regarding the key memory and buttons - those 3 buttons are independent of the keys. You can check this video -

Ok so if I do the above in the video I have to pull out my fob and lock the car manually vs using the dimple on the door handle, seems dumb to me but I can deal with it.

My question is, I was under the impression that, when I get into the car and start it that the driving positions were automatic, also in the reverse that when I go to leave the vehicle the seat etc would go back to the entry positions.

Do you have to adjust the driving and entry/exit positions each time with the manual 1-2-3 buttons on the door?

You only need to lock the car with your fob when you want to update the key memory. Once it is set the way you want it, you can lock the car with the handle without changing the key memory.
