@rockbottom8 At a price of over $150K, what is another grand?
I figured it would cost me 30 cents a day if I kept the car for ten years, which I will.
I like a functioning clock. It’s useful and beautiful. I didn’t see the point of having something on the dash I couldn’t use.

This is true, but there is a clock by default in the build. It's just changing the look of it is my understanding.

Your build says “Sport chrono package with Porsche design subsecond clock.” The option is $1110. You’ll love it.

What comes standard with the car is the stopwatch.

Yeah, the "clock" that comes standard is a huge stopwatch with a teeny 1985 era digital display of the time. I couldn;t stomach the $1000 for the upgrade but would have loved to have had it. I considered replacing with the base (non-chrono) clock in the dash but it was too much work. Never look at the silly thing.

Meh, maybe cause I'm a watch guy but I never liked the Porsche Design watch (like how I don't find most of their actual watches interesting). That plus, I optioned the red chrono to match my optioned red tach, but thats moot with the new generation anyway.

The normal sport chrono does act as a seconds hand when you're not actually using the chrono though. So its not just sitting there doing nothing at least.
