Default Tuning my '17 turbo - start the clock

Hey all.
I've just ordered a tune from VF Engineering for my Panamera. They are very heavy into Lambo/Audi v10 performance and I've seen many of their appearances on DDE's YouTube videos. They are a very impressive team.
Step 1 is waiting for the tuning tool (OBD2 interface) to be shipped. Going to be doing this at my home with support from the VF tech's. I'll be updating this thread as the process progresses. Claim is 60-80hp / 100-120trq gains which I believe puts it right in a sweet spot of not too much that might break something, but enough to be noticeably quicker.
I'll bring you all along as the process moves forwards.

Interested in how this turns out. Curious why you chose VF over BGB which has been written about a lot but the developer of the tune on the forum, it’s probably what I’ll go for if I do it

60-80 should be nice. Quicker throttle mapping would be something I would ask for. I run a sprint booster in my 18 turbo with no tune for that purpose.

Good question.....Anything over 100 hp and 150 trq scared me from a reliability standpoint. I don't want TC kicking in when i plant the loud pedal. I've seen the CEO of VF in many episodes of DDE and i believe they are a very good alternative if you are looking for not so violent of an upgrade. Nothing against BGB, they were very helpful in my search.

Still awaiting the tuning tool to be sent to my home. It's been 2 weeks since I paid for the tune and i have not yet been contacted about the whereabouts of the tool. I've had to call each week and the update I get is that it should be a week or two. Not my idea of good customer service to this point.....

After some back and forth about when someone would be available to support me during the install process (they close at 4:30 and i was not able to convince anyone to stay late and help me on 8/9), settled on 8/12. It would have been nice to get this done before the weekend so I could enjoy it while not having to be at work. My contact also didn't return any of my messages for several days after the kit arrived so I not pleased with the customer service with the person i had. Turns out he was on vacation but i was not refereed to someone else while he was away. All of this sounds petty but when you're the customer, these things add up and stand out.
Ok, so, install took place on 8/12 (photos below).

No issues (alerts, idiot lights, warnings) after I started the car. First drive was around town and i did notice a little less turbo lag than in the past but no real hard acceleration yet. That evening i went out for a more spirited drive. I can say i did notice a slight kick more than normal. But, a 100 ft lb torque more kick, didn't seem like it. the tune is very stock feeling, no jerky starts or stops. When not at WOT, the gears seem to change at lower rpm than in the past when in Sport mode.
All in all i'd give the tune a C+ grade, the customer service a D grade. For $3k, my expectations were higher.
