Hi all, i admit ive give up and decided to ask for help, not my strong point LOL.
I have a 2013 GTS - 100k mileage and have a rear left creaking noise as slow speed only when the car is simply riding a rough surface. I had all the boot trims off, tail gate and spoiler. Does it in high, normal or low mode - PASM air suspension.
Changed roll bar links and shock absorbers. Does anyone else have any experience with such a noise and what did it turn out to be?
My first suspect would be the sway bar bushings, but pretty much any of the other rubber bushings could conceivably cause this as well. Check them all for cracks, tears, looseness, etc.
^^^^^^ agreed.
Also check the three upper control arms, as those bushings can also degrade over time. There are also two bushes in the rear lower control arm as well that can degrade.
Suggest trying to get some silicon spray into those areas to see if there is any change in sound.
