Default Lock keys in car

Hey All. Appreciate the help. I’m a new 2023 panamera gts owner. I surf regularly and am trying to figure out how to leave my keys in a LOCKED car while I’m in the water. In other vehicles I could lock the electronic key in the car and use a physical key I kept in my bathing suit to open the car when I got back. I can’t figure out how to do this with my panamera.

The emergency key will open the car if the electronic keys are not in it. But if I “trick” the car into locking the keys in the trunk, the emergency key doesn’t seem to unlock the car. Also, if I leave the electronic key in the car and use the emergency key to lock the door it will lock. But the emergency key will not then unlock the car.

Does anyone know how to leave the key in a locked car and then open with a physical key?? Any other work around??

Thanks

In these circumstances, I just tend to stash my key in a safe spot outside the vehicle and have never had any issues.

What about a box made of metal to put the electronic key in, when in the trunk? (to stop it from communicating with the vehicle)

Like an Altoids mint tin?

Or if that is too thin, go to Home Depot and get a metal electrical junction box.

Try putting your Panamera key fob into non-broadcast mode by simultaneously pressing the lock and unlock buttons until the Porsche crest on the key fob lights up. The key fob will become inoperative until a single button on it is pressed. I know that this works on the Cayenne and 911 and I'm assuming that it works on all current Porsches.
