Does anyone know how to turn on the preconditioning (i.e. cabin heating) without using the app? 8 times out of 10 the app is offline so I can't start it manually. I tried scheduling it but the scheduler isn't robust enough for my needs - specifically, I like to finish charging by 7am (when the rates change) but I don't leave the house most mornings until 9am. I can create a second schedule that just does preconditioning but it won't charge leaving me with less range.

Fortunately it's been an exceptionally mild winter so it's not a big deal but I guess I expected more for such an expensive car. Maybe I'll go back to a v10 and speed along global warming so that I don't need to worry about this at all...
