The car is a 2020 car.

The Vodaphone provided services use a 3G module while your PCM maps, etc use an LTE module. The 3G service is now obsolete and slowly disappearing around the US. If you have a current service contract, your Porsche dealer will upgrade your 3G module if its available for your car. In my 2018, I have a build that they say is un-upgradable and they refunded the balance of my Vodaphone contract. Some with both older and newer models were able to get the upgrade. The Vodaphone services are the car locator, remote lock, remote read of gas, tire pressure, location, and airbag deployment call for help. There may be a few other items. All the navigation related item use LTE and are unaffected.

In Europe there is no issue with 3G, so far :-). It was the app that was down and now working again. Wonder if the 2020 can be updated to a 4G at some point.
