Default 2018 Panamera Nav problems

I’m trying to enter a destination address in the Nav system. I want to manually enter the destination. At the top of the list I enter the house number. It is accepted. I then enter the street name. Accepted. I try to enter the city but most of the alphabet , including the letters I need, are grayed out; unavailable to be selected. I look at a list of available cities and all are in Florida (where I am). My destination is in Georgia. I can get around this by taking the adddress from contacts in my phone, but I would like to fix this problem. Any ideas on what the solution is?

I've had the same problem before (2017 Panamera). Before you enter the local address, you have to tell the car that the destination is in Georgia. Unfortunately, I do not recall the sequence of "clicks" to do that, but if you look for it on the destination input screens, you should see a way. Good luck.

During your entry, start at the largest area and work down; State, City, Street, Number. It usually doesn't work going the other way, particularly if the address is in another town.

Thanks for all of your input. I will try "State" first and see if that works. To my way of thinking, one starts from the top and works down. House number is at the top, state at the bottom.
