Default New to Porsche - Panamera GTS

Hey all,

New to the Porsche family (22 Panamera GTS) and had few questions about InnoDrive and this suspension button. How does InnoDrive work and what exactly is it? It hands-free or more so adaptive cruise control? I've tried activating but a bit confusing.
What does this suspension button do exactly (with the 2 red light on)
Any other features I should know about? Thanks!

The suspension button is for setting how the suspension behaves. I Think you should have normal and sport modes. The PCM or dash cluster should say something when you press the button for what mode it goes into to. Or if you go into the car menu in the PCM it will tell you what mode your suspension is in.

Go here: https://manual.porsche.com/
Enter your VIN, and the online manual will answer all your questions. Much easier to use than the paper manual since you can search it.

The button changes the characteristics of the shock absorbers, the dampers. Adjustable shock absorbers (dampers) are labelled "PASM" by Porsche. No other suspension component is affected by this button, only the shock absorbers (dampers).

InnoDrive is semi-automomous driving that uses active cruise control plus active lane keeping, plus a "think ahead" function which is nebulous. The specifics of ACC + ALK work well and I use it on the highway. The InnoDrive "think ahead function" has not made its value apparent to me.

Innodrive is adaptive cruise that will speed up and slow down the car based on the road, using input from the navigation system. For example it will slow the car for a curve or traffic circle on it's own then speed up afterwards. If combined with LKA (Lane Keep Assist) it will turn the wheel to some degree around curves automatically, but it's function is far from being an autopilot system like other manufacturers have had for many years now.

Sometimes I like Innodrive and sometimes I don't. For example when driving on the interstate in the mountains where the road curves if I have it set at 85mph it will excessively slow the car to, say, 65mph, for a simple curve in the road which the car could easily handle at 85mph.

Most of the time I just run it in ACC mode and leave PID mode off.
