Right... The vehicle is getting PPF now. Shop is going to try molding it back so it's not noticeable. Dealership got back to me and is offering $250 for the repair. Should be enough for most shops - but let's see.. I think it's too low but we can see after the shop evaluates it.

Heat gun in right hands will sort out almost all wavy stuff. Keep in mind you bought a used car and that is normal wear and tear. Like slightly parking a bit "deep" over a parking stop. Schit happens.

Sorry to see this, OP. it will bother me to no end if I received the car in this condition. Luckily it should be an easy fix. The lower lip is a separate piece attached by a number of screws. It can be taken off and reshape easily, or replace if you want to. The bumper cover does need to come off though, which is also a very easy job to pull off.

I would not email. I would just meet him/her in person. Email isn't for things like this. Go pay them a visit

Email leaves a paper trail. Speaking in person doesn't

It's harder to say no in person. You can always confirm the conversation in email to create the trail.

Thanks everyone for the input!
@E39Nutz - What's the part number for the new lip? The car is already at the PPF shop. They're going to try shaping it up
I don't think it'll be too hard to reshape with a heat gun. Long as I can't see it, I'm fine but still unfortunate

The manager never even called or returned my email. It was the salesperson, who was always nice and respectful to begin with. If I didn't live 1600 miles away, I would've went there and had a conversation, as most men would..

Hope they can level it enough that you don’t see it. The part number starts with this

971-807-541-X-YYY

X and Y denotes additional identifiers for version and color code I believe. These are at 400 ish and you need to get it painted as your lip spoiler is a painted one.

Note to self, if you're picky check out the car first before buying it
