Default KEY not found error

I have a 2023 4EHST and at various times I randomly get a "Key not found" message. When trying to start car, restarting generally clears it. But occasionally it occurs while driving without any obvious effect - yet anyway.

Have changed key battery without any effect. Local dealer not helpful. Any ideas anyone?

Do you have any electrical cables that might be interfering with the sensors in the roof? My 2018 TST does the exact same thing, and after months of puzzling over it, I finally realized it was interference from the dashcam cable I have running through the headliner (it's a 3-channel system). If I unplug that cable, the problem disappears. Because I want the 3rd channel operational, I just deal with it

So, consider any possible sources of interference and test by unplugging them. Good luck.

I get it on my 2018 Turbo too, intermittently. I tend to keep my key in my left pocket. When I keep it in my right pocket it never happens. Replacing batteries has no effect for me and it happens with both keys. I just think the antenna is not as good as it should be.

Sometimes if you keep the key in your pocket with your cellphone it won't work or you get the message. Same if you have two keys on you...

Defiantly a cellphone or another object will block it ... like my stomach.
