Do you mean the brake disc rotors? Not sure they have checked it. They are ceramic so I was under the assumption that would not be a problem. No vibration at all when braking by the way. But thnx, I will get that checked!

I think Marcus was saying to check hub runout with and without rotor. As in check runout at the hub itself, and then mount rotor and check runout again on the rotor.

You are correct that carbon ceramics are much less likely to have defects. but nothing is ever truly perfect.

Thanx guys. But I was wondering, for an inbalance in the rotor and / or Hub there has to be a (or change) in vibration during braking? Because there is non while braking. The main vibration is in the gaspedal en the rest pedal plate and increases when lowingering and stiffening the suspension.

My rotors have been replaced with absolutely no change in vibration.

Are you feeling the vibration all the time at same speed or is is there sometimes and not others?

Thanks for helping Marcus but there is a bulletin on the connecting shaft. None on the axles but mine were checked and cardan shaft replaced. No change.

this is not the issue.

regarding your other comment to check hub run out is very valid. I also think the bearing going through the carrier unit on left axle could be a culprit. Note, BGB ran car on lift and could validate the vibration on a lift.

Porsche North Houston have had about a handful of cases. First case was their owner with brand new Panamera, they could never figure it out and car was sold.

2018 Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo
36k miles
Like others, vibration between ~53-62 mph

Weirdest thing, this didn't start to happen until after I recently swapped out Michelin PS4Ss for Michelin AS4s and had it aligned. The vibration is mild, but detectable. So, not sure if it's tire/wheel runout or what. 🤷‍♂️

On Porsche Cayenne, central shaft have problem. It's possible that Panamera have the same problem.

No vibrations at all. I did have an unsettling vibration last week at around 50mph; Determined to be glob of snow stuck in LR wheel. Removed snow, no more vibration.

What I can't get my head around is that I travel to work on the same road every day, same speeds, and some days the vibration is hardly noticeable, yet on others it's so bad it's almost comical! Doesn't correlate to temperature or weather either.
