Default More options or less miles?

Deciding between 2 different 2018 Panamera E-Hybrids that are around the same price.

1) 20k miles with less options (120k new with options)
2) Over 40k miles with more options (130k new with options like rear steering, 4 zone climate control, etc.)

Which would you choose? Is it better to get the one with less miles? Looking to keep for 2-4 years. Wondering if it would be harder to sell with the extra 20k miles?

get the one that has option you actually want, if they are trivial then why bother.

I think its safe to say you don't buy any Panamera for resell value. If you want one don't worry about resell and buy what you want. Thats what I did. I knew the options I had to have and looked for it. I need to always justify big purchases like these to make me feel ok financially but the wife told me to let it go since its the car we want. As long as the cost of the car is in the range you want then that should be ok with you.

Make a better comparison for yourself. Find another car that is closer in mileage and option content to the 40k mile unit. How about a 30k mile unit with all the options you want? What is that price?

You might need to open up your geographic search window to find more apples-apples comparisons.

When it comes to resale, low mileage is generally worth more than options. Options are usually worth a small fraction of their original cost.

When it comes to enjoying the car while you own it, that's a personal decision.

Which other options differentiate them? Regarding the two you listed; I would go with the low mile one. Our 2019 Base 2wd ones is fantastic in Dolomite Silver with 21-inch silver - platinum design wheels, and solid black interior. I only wish it had soft close doors and surround view for parking. Heated and cooled front seats are great to have. Does not need air suspension, PASM is great as is. Gets 30-34 mpg at 70 mph. The BOSE in it is 2x better in terms of real deep base power compared to our 2023 Cayenne with BOSE.

I ALWAYS go with the options. My past two Porsches were a Cayenne Turbo $160k and a Panamera $201k. These machines will run 300k easy...Live life.
