It’s all good, we’ve finally got some activity on the board , been quiet for too long in here . Agree on a separate build thread though , looks like a great journey so far .
agreed - I also have some interior mods to show and would love to see other ideas!
Also, I wrapped my shift **** and painted the shaft black - looks so much better... as noted, we will start another thread to capture interior mods.

Take it you guys don’t know about Manuel, the Mexican genius ? Found him on a 911 board, manufactures different pdk shift *****. I was in contact with him a couple of years back so not sure if he’s still active , some of his work was amazing . Didn’t buy one at the time , needed the cash for more parts sadly. I’ll see if I can dig out his contact details .
I would be interested in seeing what he has if still in the business. I have been enamored with the upgraded leather OEM PDK shift **** since I saw it. Have seen a few of them installed on a few Panamera YouTube videos and think the looks will fit nicely in my car. If he has something different and better would be very interested.
Thanks for the heads up.

I thought about going the pure turbo route as well and contacted Flat6 regarding tuning options. I also contacted Freed Performance since I am not far from Atlanta after watching the referenced video in this thread several years ago. They did return a contact email after I reached out and made an inquiry regarding pure turbos or other packages they offered for my platform. I mentioned I was shopping for good cost/reward and had a budget. I never mentioned the dollar amount of the budget and never heard back; I did send two additional follow-up emails no response. That's what pushed me over to FVD since it was a complete package built to work together with ECU and TCU tune.
The package is pricey but I do like knowing I can buy everything in one place and they offer all the tuning I need. I'm not gong to chase after someone to give them my money especially for a want and not a need. I set my budget pretty high IMO to cover parts, install, and the extra maintenance peace of mind items to do while you're in there stuff. All in this go around will be 40k - 45k not huge but definitely not a small amount either especially in these times. I just need to finish this DCT swap on another car then I can focus on the turbo upgrade for 970.1. It's taken a while but this platform has really grown on me. I only wish I could find more threads on people who have done this upgrade and/or with the FVD kit.
