970 intermittent wipers
Looked everywhere about 970 intermittent wipers to find info but not much found. Normal speed wipers work good but intermittent does not work. Is there a rain sensor somewhere, a relay or known column switch issue with this function?

Finally fixed this. The rain sensor was bad. Had to go into the pcm turn wiper to manual. Then pulled drivers side 5amp fuse #54 out, restarted vehicle. Now rain sensor is bypassed and intermittent wiper works great. I suppose the powered on rain sensor circuit was stuck waiting on the dead sensor whether automatic or manual is set in pcm, the circuit was still pausing so removing power sent it back to 1986 tech.
