Default Need Help - Major AC Problem

I have a 2016 Panamera Edition, and a 2017 Macan GTS. The Panamera AC blower was dead. I searched everything I could for Panamera (2010-2016) and there just isn't much user/DIY info on these cars, apparently Panamera owners don't like to get their hands dirty.

So blower no worky. I replaced it with a Nissens blower (identical), and replaced the resistor "control" pack above it while I was at it, and also replaced cabin filter and vacuumed the intake vent under the hood. Checked all fuses that could be related (esp 5 and 57 on left side), with meter, and they're all GOOD. Put it all back together, and still no worky. Still completely dead.

Got out my iCarsoft OBDII reader for Porsche, and I don't see any error codes that are significant, except for one that says something about "fan control = blocked". No idea what that's trying to tell me. All the controls work fine, I checked the activity of most of the buttons on the console with the analyzer, no problems.

Anyone have a similar problem before? i hate to be at the mercy of the dealer to analyze this problem. WHERE is the actual logical control for the HVAC system done? Is there a module somewhere? There is no blower fan relay in this car, per the research I've been able to do.

TIA for any help you can provide.
Jerry

Thanks for the reply...the iCarsoft is indicating a LIN bus problem with the AC. Not sure whether that implies a Gateway problem or a wiring problem.

Yesterday I took the car to Porsche of South Orlando, and they wanted $800 (only 2 hours time @ 400/hr) to diagnose, plus an approval from me that they could take more than 2 hours. This is just to diagnose, not even to fix it.
