Default Exhaust valve controller

Hi all,

does anyone know what the voltage should be at the controller behind rear bumper when sports exhaust button is pressed? I have 0.5 and O volts when off.

I ask because I have just fitted a new controller and my flaps still do not work. I have new actuators and both work when linking vacuum hose together (by passing solonoid controller at back bumper) also have good vacuum.

The only thing I can think of is the new controller is faulty or button isn’t triggering something else I’m missing? It lights up.

2013 GTS Pan

cheers

james

I don’t have 12v at the PSE valve controller is there a relay or control unit somewhere?

done lots of reading but can’t seem to find anything on why there wouldn’t be 12v there?

Update I only have 0.5v coming out of the rear BCM when the button is pressed.

not a coding issue otherwise button wouldn’t light up.

does anyone know what I can test going into the rear BCM? Everything else works..

Hi, when there is no voltage on the connector the valve is open. When the button is not active the voltage is 12V.

If you don't have voltage you need to control fuses, ithink

I think that the problem is module that control the valves. It's locate rear under car.
Your valves is always open ? If yes the problem is this part : 7PP906270

You need to control if you have 12V or ground on the connector.

To test you locate rear BCM in the trunk near battery. You have grey connector (42 pins). On position 5 there is wire black/yellow that command valves. You can test it.
If you don't have voltage it's a BCM problem and you need reinitialize the BCM with a Piwis

Hi Marcus, Yer just tested the BLK/YEL and its 0.5v so im thinking the BCM is goosed but only on this pin out as everything else works off that rear BCM. Weird.

Do you think a PIWIS will solve it? I have it booked in with porsche £220 just for them to tell me its faulty. I may cancel the appointment but i cant see another way of sorting this. I can buy a rear BCM off ebay but im guessing it will need coding to car?

To change BCM it's necessary have Piwis.
