Change the plugs yourself, I know how it feels . I bought my 16 GTS at the peak of covid pricing and brought it home and did a base line service on it . It was expensive, but worth knowing the condition of systems . If the service is above your interest just pay and enjoy the car you have . Of all the cars I have had so far the Panamera is the best by any measure . There is a lot of reasons Porsche wants the plugs changed , you can gamble and probably win ?

More worried that it will show up on the Porsche system as plugs not done if I do them myself and then get Porsche to do the rest.

Simply save the slip , all this recorded maintenance is over rated . You know its done , that's what means the most . As for resale , not going to get you any money back paying the dealer to do service .

Here in the UK, first thing any buyer asks is "Has the car a full service and all by the main dealer" if there is any gaps, they knock thousands off or refuse to purchase the car.
Be interested if there is anything on the Porsche service system that states what was actually done on the service that traders and Porsche dealers can see.
If a note could be added to say anything like "Spark plugs changed by customer" or anything like that.

Our 2019 paper maintenance book calls for 30K miles/4 years for plugs. Book printed in May 2018. Says the air filter R&R is due at 80K miles/4 years.

I guess the question would be if the dealer would put the service has been completed if they only did oil and filter and not the plugs if I did them
