Default 2018 Panamera 4 E-hybrid 971 throttle lag

Hey guys!
Has anyone used a sprint booster or racechip XLR with the 2018 4 E-hybrid?
I'm looking for ways to solve the throttle lag and jerkiness when accelerating at low gears/low rpms/at a stop.

Any other suggestions/solutions/tips you've guys found to improve throttle response?

Won't work you got to get the DTE one

https://www.pedalbox.com/us/

I order it from racechip and it didn't work and same as pedal commander! the only one that work is the DTE one and yes it does improve the throttle response and at the same time pick up a racechip too

Thank you for this, appreciate it!!

What was the reason sprint booster and pedal commander did not work? Was it because the cable plug holes we’re different/incompatible?

To confirm, the racechip is this one?

Sprint Booster most certainly fit on my 2018 Turbo Sport Turismo, so I would imagine it would work for yours too. I ran it for about 8 months before removing it. It definitely reduced throttle lag, without a doubt, but it ultimately didn't play nicely with my ECU tune (it has a custom tune on it).

I am actually selling my Sprint Booster. It's in perfect condition. $240 ($50 off retail)

Thank you for the offer!
I think the 971 chassis sprint booster plug holes may be different from the E-Hybrid, as mentioned by Andy.

My E-hybrid throttle plug has 4 holes. How many holes does your sprint booster have?

Here are my throttle plugs for the E-hybrid. Are these are the same plugs as your E-hybrid with pedalbox DTE plugs?

Ok, so your plug does look different. Sorry, but hopefully you find something to decrease your throttle lag.

Can you all elaborate on this issue in the E-Hybrid: "throttle lag and jerkiness when accelerating at low gears/low rpms/at a stop." Is it a ICE/electric transition issue? Turbo spool-up issue? Throttle tip-in issue? Avoidable by throttle feathering/light foot? A performance issue vs a "comfort" issue (for example, is the jerkiness noticeable to passengers)?
Thanks

Hey good questions,
It's all with ICE. Electric is good. Driving mostly in sport mode.
This may be how the car normally functions though, from what I've read online. It may be my driving habits.

It is mostly avoidable by throttle feathering/light foot.
It's a bit of both, performance and comfort. I don't think it's too noticeable for the passengers.
There is sometimes a jerk when shifting from 1-2, 2-3.
When accelerating from a stop, with a cold ICE (first 10 minutes of driving), the gear shifting 1-2, 2-3 can sometimes feel and sound 'clanky/heavy/rough/grindy'. When the shift from 1-2, 2-3 occurs, there is sometimes a noticeable bump/shake/rough shift that does not feel/sound pleasant.
Whereas, when accelerating from a stop, with a warmed up ICE, the gear shifting and throttle tend to be more consistently smooth/crisp/fast.

I'm hoping that with the pedalbox' added throttle, the gear shifting from 1-2, 2-3 will be smoother more consistently. (butter smooth shifts)

it won’t fit jfyi. The hybrid use a different pigtail, then the gas one. There is a page on the forum here that it won’t work. The only one that work is the dte one cause of the pigtail are different

Thank you for confirming!

I'll try the DTE pedal box and report back with the results.

Thanks -- sounds very similar to the how my old (2007) Audi S8 with the V10 used to drive - if you weren't careful (and sometimes even if you were) it was a pretty unsmooth in that 1-2, 2-3 shifting.

Yeah! At times I need to focus when controlling the acceleration pressure during 1-2, 2-3 . It feels like i’m trying to solve a puzzle, by accelerating lightly initially then more once the gear is about to change, so it shifts smoothly. It get’s easier over time, but some shifts are really hard to make smooth, especially at low speeds/stop and go traffic/cold engine.
