What are the specific differences between 4S and GTS?
Err assuming we're talking 971, its not a tune giving 20 more hp, its a whole different engine.
The engine is tuned to have more of a flat power curve to try and hide any turbo lag. This is probably why people say the V8 feels more responsive than the V6 despite only a 20hp difference. The curve matters a lot, its not just about peak power.
The suspension is also tuned differently, to be more sporty.
And ultimately if you don't mind tuning your car (either dont care about warranty or dont have one) then the GTS can be tuned to Turbo S levels (same engine after all)

My apologies, i was referring to the 970...
probably should have noted that...
The 971 4S is lighter than the 971 GTS offsetting any HP difference. The V8 is heavier than the turbocharged V6. The published Porsche spec show a faster 0-60 time. The personality of the GTS is sportier although a 4S with the sports package makes it close.
You're thinking of the 4S E-Hybrid with 3.5s (which is 400lb more than the GTS)
